Players and friends
What does automatically trusting a friend's recorded matches do?
Automatically trust recorded matches is a setting per friend under Edit friend. When it is on and that friend records a match you played in, your confirmation is given automatically and the match never lands under To confirm. It is on by default, only works for friends linked to an account, and only for matches that friend records.

Which way it works
The setting means: I trust what this friend records. Take Noor and Jesse, who are linked to each other.
- Noor records a match with Jesse. Whether Jesse still has to confirm it depends on the setting on Jesse's contact for Noor.
- Jesse records a match with Noor. That depends on the setting on Noor's contact for Jesse.
Switching it on for a friend never saves that friend a tap. It saves you one.
Switch it on or off
- Open Club → Friends and tap the friend.
- Tap Edit friend.
- Tick or clear Automatically trust recorded matches and tap Save.

New friends start with the box ticked, including a friend that appears in your list because somebody linked to you. The box is also shown for friends that are Only with you, but it does nothing there: without an account there is nothing to confirm.
What it changes, and when
- Only matches finished after the change. The setting is read at the moment a match is finished. Switching it on does not confirm what is already waiting under To confirm, and switching it off does not reopen matches that were confirmed automatically.
- An automatic confirmation counts as agreement, just like tapping Looks right ✓. The match does not wait for you before it counts in group statistics.
- When somebody links your contact to your account, matches from the last seven days arrive under To confirm, unless you already had that player saved with this box ticked.
What it does not change
- A correction asks everyone again. When somebody changes a recorded result, the other players' confirmations go back to waiting, automatic ones included.
- Final stays final. Seven days after a match is finished the result is fixed; trusting a friend does not stretch that or change who may correct it.
- There is nothing to answer. Looks right ✓ and That's not right only appear while your confirmation is still waiting. If an automatically confirmed result is wrong, use Correct the result while it is still possible.
If it does not work
- A match from a trusted friend is still under To confirm. It was finished before you ticked the box, it reached you when your account was linked, or somebody corrected the result afterwards.
- My friend still has to confirm the matches I record. That is their own setting, on their contact for you.
- Nothing happens for this friend. The friend is Only with you: automatic trust only works once the friend is linked to an account.
