Groups and statistics
How do I draw random pairings and see who played whom?
Open Night → Random pairings, check who plays and tap Draw pairs. The app shuffles the players into pairs; with an odd number, one random player is Sitting out. The draw never becomes a game, standing or statistic. How often players met is in Show who played whom in the standings.

Who is on the list
- With a night open on this phone, the list is tonight’s roster and everyone is checked. Unchecking someone only applies to this draw. Add player here also puts the person on tonight’s roster.
- Without an open night, also when signed out, the list shows names typed earlier on this phone. Remove a name with the minus button next to it. This list holds up to 24 names.
- Signed in, Add player also offers My friends, and Save to My friends keeps a new name as a friend.
Draw pairs
- Open Night and tap Random pairings under Tools. No account is needed.
- Check the players who play. The count, such as 3 of 3 selected, shows how many are on.
- Tap Add player for someone missing, choose a friend or enter a New name and tap Add.
- Tap Draw pairs. The button stays inactive until at least two players are checked.
The result
The pairings lists Game 1, Game 2 and so on. With an odd number of players, one player is Sitting out, chosen at random.

- Shuffle again draws all checked players again from scratch. It does not avoid earlier pairs and does not give the break to someone else on purpose.
- Other players takes you back to the list to change who plays.
- Done returns to Night.
What a draw does not do
- It records nothing. No game, match, standing or statistic is made, and nobody’s history changes.
- It is not saved. Reload the page and you are back at Choose players.
- It is not a tournament. There are no rounds, Swiss pairings, round robin or automatic next round. Play the games on the counter and record them as usual.
See who played whom
- Open Night → Night standings, or the Standings of a season.
- Tap Show who played whom. It appears when more than one player is in the standings.
- Read per pair how many finished matches they played together, or not yet.
In a match with more players, every pair at the table counts once. The season table only counts settled results. The app does not pick opponents from this table; use it to choose yourself.
If it does not work
- Draw pairs stays grey. Check at least two players.
- The list shows old names instead of tonight’s players. No night is open on this phone; resume the night under Night first.
- You can draw at most 24 players at once. Remove names you no longer need.
- Adding failed. Please try again. The friend or name could not be added; try again.
