How do I join a game night from a second device?
On the host's phone, open Night → Manage night: under Second device there is a QR code with a six-character code. On the second phone, open Night → Join a night, scan the QR code or type the code under Code and tap Use code. That phone then records its games in the same night. The life totals on the two counters stay separate.

Before you start
- Both phones are signed in, each with its own account. Join a night only appears when you are signed in.
- The night is still open. A closed night has no code.
- A connection. The code is checked by the server.
On the host's phone
- Open Night and tap Manage night.
- Under Second device you find the QR code, with the code beneath it.
Only hosts of the night see this code. Show it only to the people at your table: anyone with the code can join while the night is open.
On the second phone
- Open Night and tap Join a night. Scan a code opens.
- Tap Open camera and point it at the QR code. Or type the code under Code and tap Use code; capitals and spaces do not matter.
- You see You joined with the name of the night, and Night shows the night with your name under Who is here.
Scan inside the app. A phone's own camera app opens the QR link in the browser instead. If you are not signed in there, you are asked to sign in first and then taken to Join a game night.
Already put on the roster by a friend?
If the host put you on tonight's roster through a friend linked to your account, you do not need a code. Night shows Night at followed by the host's name. Tap Join in.
What a connected device can do
- Record games in the same night. Once they have been sent, they count in that night's Night standings.
- Manage the night like the host: the roster, the name, the code and Close night. Under Group you only see groups of your own account.
- Not reopen it. Only the person who started the night can reopen it after closing.
Under Manage night, all devices of the night are listed after Connected devices.
What is not shared
- Life totals. Every phone has its own counter. Changes on one phone do not appear on the other, and you cannot operate a game on one phone from the other.
- Instant updates. Roster and standings reach the other phone when it syncs: when you open a page, bring the app to the front, or after about a minute. Refresh in Night standings fetches the latest figures.
If it does not work
- We don't know this code (anymore). or This code does not belong to an open game night. The code was mistyped, or the night is closed. Closing removes the code and reopening creates a new one, so ask the host for the current code.
- No connection. Try again once you are back online. Joining needs a connection.
- The camera does not start. Allow camera access for the app, or type the code instead.
- Join a night is missing. Sign in first.
