Players and friends
How do I merge duplicate friends or remove a contact?
In Club → Friends, tap Merge under the entry you want to get rid of, choose the contact that remains and confirm. Tap Delete to remove a contact from your list. Neither removes recorded games, and neither can be undone in the app.

Merge or delete?
- Merge when two entries are the same person. Their games then count under one contact.
- Delete when you no longer want somebody in your list. Their recorded games stay in history.
Merge two friends
- Open Club → Friends.
- Tap Merge under the entry that should disappear. Merge contact opens with Choose the contact that remains. Decks move with it.
- Tap the contact that remains, then Merge.
- The app asks, for example, Merge Sam into Sam de Vries? Decks move with it. Tap Confirm to merge, or Cancel to change nothing.
- The first entry disappears from your list and from Who plays here?.

What merging does
- Games count together. Games recorded with the removed entry now count under the contact that remains, in history and statistics. The recorded games themselves are not rewritten.
- Decks move from the removed entry to the one that remains.
- A link is not copied. The contact that remains keeps its own label. So keep the linked one: merge the entry that is Only with you into the one that is Linked to an account, and its games reach that player's own history too.
- No new questions. Games that reach a linked player this way are not added to their To confirm list.
- There is no undo. A merged entry cannot be split again.
Delete a contact
- In My friends, tap Delete under the contact.
- The app asks, for example, Delete Sam? Tap Confirm to delete, or Cancel to keep the contact.
- The contact disappears from your list and from Who plays here?.
What deleting does and does not do
- Recorded games stay. Matches with this contact remain in your history under the same name.
- A linked player keeps their games. Deleting your contact does not take anything out of their history or statistics, and you stay in their friends list.
- Decks are not moved. A deleted contact's decks go to nobody; merge instead if you want to keep them.
- Adding the player again creates a new contact. The deleted one does not come back.
- There is no undo in the app.
If it does not work
- No connection. Try again once you are back online. Merging and deleting need a connection; nothing has changed.
- The Merge button stays greyed out. Tap the contact that should remain first.
- The contact I want to keep is not in the list. The list shows your other friends; a contact cannot be merged into itself.
